Mark Holmes
About Mace

Role: Group Board Director
Mark joined Mace in 1992 and was made a director in January 1996. During this time he was responsible for the delivery of the £200m Waterside project for client British Airways.
Throughout his career he has been driven by a desire to challenge conventional ways of doing things and to really make a difference to his clients’ businesses.
After Waterside, Mark was instrumental in setting up and establishing the company’s project management and consultancy business in the UK. By 2000 Mace had established a working relationship with 25% of the FTSE 100.
As part of the successful management buyout team, Mark was charged with establishing a UK presence for our consulting offer through regional offices in Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester. He has also driven Mace’s entry into the public sector where we now have an established business in education, regeneration, housing, healthcare and partnering frameworks.
In addition to chairing the consultancy group board, Mark is also on the board of the group’s facilities management business Macro and educational consultancy Place Group.
