Role: Group Human Resources Director

Kath joined Mace as HR director in 1998 and is responsible for providing strategic advice to the group in all areas of human resource management. Her remit covers domestic and international employment strategies, compensation, benefits, employee relations, employment law, learning and development, talent management, organisational development, resourcing, recruitment, diversity, equal opportunities, workforce and succession planning, employee wellbeing, occupational health and performance management.

Kath has been a qualified HR practitioner for over 30 years and has worked in a very wide variety of roles, including employment law, payroll and benefits, training and development, industrial relations and recruitment. Kath is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Prior to joining Mace, Kath's experience was mainly of human resource management in the public sector working with large local authorities and airports. When Kath joined Mace she had most recently been head of HR for Buckinghamshire County Council.
