Construction Manager Needed for Commercial Fit Out Projects

The Role:

Como are currently working on a variety of high quality fit out projects in Central London, ranging in value from £1m - £10m, in the high end legal, commercial and banking sector. In view of their success, Como are now looking for a Construction Manager, with a proven track record in construction and fit out, to join the team and to run the project on site.

The Requirements:

Main requirements for this role are as follows:• Contribute to the achievement of Mace safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences. • To deliver the project to the client within budget, Quality Assurance standards, on programme and to stringent safety parameters. • To work with the planning team to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work. • To assess employee capability and performance. • To manage the budget and delivery of the section/ project. • To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the agreed programme(s). • To ensure adoption of innovative ideas from within the business and from the workforce. • To plan the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team. • To interface with other managers to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilization. • To monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change. • To lead section meetings and review progress in productivity, design and achievement of commercial requirements. • To ensure effective implementation of Mace project management systems and procedures. • Contribute to the contract review process.
