Planning Manager required for Fit Out and Commercial Building projects.

The Role:

Como undertake fit out, refurbishment and commercial new build projects. Como requires a planning manager to work on some of the most prestigious fit out projects in London and the South East. This role will operate from the city with frequent project and client visits across London.

The Requirements:

General responsibilities for this role include:• To co-ordinate and manage all aspects of the planning process, pre and post contract. • Responsible for the co-ordination and planning of the logisitics of the project. • To be site based throughout the construction phase in establishing the master programme, sub contract liaison, short term planning, process data recording and reporting. • Prepare critical path programmes regarding all construction activities. • As part of the Bid Management team, responsible for the preparation of planning activities and presentation there of, at bid proposal meetings. • Development of relationships with clients and consultants at both pre-contract and during the bid process. This is to ensure all planning activities meet the critical requirements regarding cost, programme, quality, etc. • Liaise with external design teams regarding planning activities ensuring documents are produced to agreed deadlines. • Recognise and highlight any technical problems which may become apparent either during the bid or construction process.
