Mace Plus wins third SECE framework appointment

Mace Plus has scored a hat trick with its third consecutive project win through the South East Centre of Excellence (SECE) framework: the Garth Hill one school pathfinder (OSP) project for client Bracknell Forest Council. This win means Mace Plus has secured three projects thorugh the SECE frameworks in the last three months with previous appointments confirmed on St. Bartholomew's School in West Berkshire and Teddington School in Richmond.
The new build secondary school will be constructed on the existing playing fields and the old school will be demolished as part of the works. Currently catering for 950 students, the new school will have 1,550 student places up to the age 18. Construction is due to commence on the 8th September 2008 and completion is scheduled for March 2010.
