Sense sponsors RICS 2007 Matrics Ball

The RICS Matrics Manchester annual charity ball in October 2007 held at the Midland Hotel was, as always, a great success. The champagne reception was sponsored by Sense Cost Consultancy and the free-flowing drinks helped get everyone in the mood. Sense and Mace staff from the Manchester office shared a table and a dance at the end of the evening and funds raised from the event went to children's charity Barnardo's.
This year's ball had a delightful Moulin Rouge theme with glamorous show girls and can-can dancers entertaining the guests throughout the evening. Over 400 surveyors, developers and clients from the north west attended the event.
Once the Sense champagne reception, three course dinner and professional dancing was over, a charity raffle and auction were held which raised several thousands of pounds. Finally, the DJ for the evening provided an eclectic mix of music keeping the dance floor heaving into the small hours.
Lorna McHugh has been one of the event organisers for the last three years as part of her involvement on the RICS Manchester Matrics committee.
