Sense wins education double

Sense has been appointed to provide cost consultancy services on two education projects in the south west.
The first is the redevelopment of the Hayesfield private school's Bath campus and the second is the redevelopment of Bournville School in Weston Super Mare for client North Somerset District Council. The latter scheme comprises the rationalisation of an existing nursery, infant and junior school into a new 420 place primary school with 30 nursery places. The new school will incorporate the Regio Emilia education system and ethos.
Operations director John Webb is delighted with the double success, particularly the Bournville School appointment: "We didn't offer the lowest price but the quality was deemed to far outweigh the cost differential."
Mace is providing project management and CDM coordination for both projects.
