Information

3i's headquarters is located at 16 Palace Street in London's SW1 and is part of the Land Securities' Cardinal Place development.

Como undertook the Cat A fit out of 3i's new headquarters building in London. The project scope comprised the fit out of 65,000ft2 over four floors, from the ground floor reception up to and including the third floor.

While the first and third floors were subject to a straightforward fit out of office space and meeting rooms, the second floor also incorporated a kitchen and dining room in addition to an auditorium and AV suite.

One of the key design parameters on the project was the high quality joinery installation and how such quality could be incorporated into a fast moving working environment. Completed in February 2006, the project won the fit out of a workplace (London) category in the 2006 British Council of Offices (BCO) awards.

A number of further projects have been completed for 3i including the fit out of the ground floor as a meeting suite and the upgrade of its video conference facilities across the UK.
