Information

In February 2008 Mace, in joint venture with E C Harris, delivered this premium residential development for Emaar Properties PJSC located within the prestigious Burj Dubai District.

Following the successful introduction of the Residences Phase 1 Emaar Properties PJSC, appointed Mace in conjunction with its joint venture partner, E C Harris, to provide project management and executive quality control for the development. The development was procured as a design and build contract, from the concept design prepared by Zeidler Partnership architects (Toronto), the design development and construction supervision being carried out by local architects, Arif and Bintoak. Nasa Multiplex was awarded the contract and basement excavation work commenced in January 2005.

The development comprises a podium on a two storey basement and six residential towers (25 to 39 floors) rising form the podium, accommodating 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses at roof level. Car parking (1244 spaces) is provided within the two basement levels, the ground and first floor of the podium.

The development is fully air conditioned with chilled water being supplied from a central district cooling plant. Heat exchanger rooms are located in the basement together with other plant and equipment rooms. Air handling plant and tank rooms are also located at roof level. Building maintenance equipment is located at roof level for cleaning and maintaining facades.

Each tower is served by 3 lifts (3.0m/s for taller towers and 2.5m/s for shorter towers) with separate lifts serving the amenities areas located in the podium.
Tower facades comprise ‘low e’ double glazed unitized curtain walling units and insulated fair faced pre-cast concrete wall panels on an in-situ reinforced concrete frame with pre-stressed post- tensioned flat soffit floor slabs.
