Information

Mace has a long-term relationship with ExxonMobil, delivering improvements to its worldwide offices as part of a framework agreement.

The Cap Defense building is situated in the heart of La Defense, Paris's main business district, where ExxonMobil has taken four complete floors and 2 half floors and relocated its French offices. Mace started working on this project as construction manager but quickly became principal contractor at the client's request to speed-up the procurement period.

Although the building has recently been refurbished by the landlord, this fit out project required a substantial re-work to floors, ceilings and finishes to accomodate Exxon's specific requirements in terms of data and power cabling .

The IT and telecom rooms had to be delivered early while the rest of the floors were still fitted-out, and bespoke requirements were also incorporated in the design following Exxon project review: complex archive rooms, medical centre and conference rooms with secure connections.
