Since 2004 Mace has built a formidable reputation on this award winning project by providing exceptional standards of service, building excellent customer relationships and delivering outstanding value to become the primary delivery partner for Ulster Bank Group Property.

Mace's principal activity is providing programme management, project management, cost management and design services for Ulster Bank Group property. This has involved managing a fast pace modernisation roll-out programme for a retail banking network of over 220 branches whilst implementing a major corporate re-branding programme, developing new corporate business centre buildings, constructing new cash centres, managing cash in transit programmes and also carrying out major fit out works to Ulster Bank’s prestigious head office in Dublin.

Mace have introduced key performance measures on the project across cost, quality, programme and customer focus to demonstrate continuous improvement and added customer value year-on-year; achieving a modest overall rating of 92% in 2005 and an impressive 96% rating in 2007.

100% cost certainty is a key success factor with year on year budget savings recorded at over 5%.

Independent customer satisfaction surveys conducted in January 2007 rated the Mace service at 99%.

Mace’s focus on detail and our commitment to health, safety and environmental factors has resulted in meeting a major project milestone of over 500,000 man hour’s work without a single reportable accident.

The Mace team have been most innovative in developing marshalling facilities for Ulster Bank (HUBS) for the speedy transfer of equipment and components to multiple projects. This has ensured that quality checks are made before goods and equipment arrive on site, minimising snags and defects whilst reducing supplier deliveries.
